The violin for a violinist
is like the color palette for a painter. For example, even
if there is a wide variety of colors available on the palette,
there will not be a marvelous painting if the artist lacks
creativity and power of expression. The same goes for a
painter with a mountain of ideas she wants to express but
lacks a colorful palette to paint with.
I guess Stradivarius violins have various characteristics,
but I think this Rainville is a rare instrument that can
express the most delicate and subtle ''color shades'' in
music, just like in a precious painting.
When I played this violin, it felt as if the music and soul
have found refuge in the instrument itself. |
